Stay, Play and Connect - Open Play

Service Description

For families that may not be able to commit to a weekly Parent-Child Playgroup come join us for our Stay, Play and Connect open-play sessions when you have time. Stay, Play & Connect – Open Play Sessions What it is: Stay, Play & Connect is a relaxed, welcoming open play session where parents and children come together to learn, laugh, and grow. Parents stay and actively play with their children while connecting with other families. Each session  includes the opportunity to chat with a DIRFloortime® provider, along with occasional guest professionals who share tips and strategies to support your child’s growth and development. Details: (these sessions will require preregistration so the group can remain small) Length: 1-hour session Format: Parent and child play together, with opportunities for social connection, support, and learning. Focus: Building relationships, strengthening parent–child engagement, and creating a supportive parent community. What Parents Gain from Joining Connection with Other Parents – Build friendships and find support from families who understand your experiences. Guidance from Professionals – Receive weekly access to a DIRFloortime provider and learn from a rotating team of child development specialists.
